The Stitchers Garden is a Block of the Month class that will teach you to do applique and introduce a sewing foot or attachment each month.
If you continue to come each month, you should have a completed quilt by the end of the year but feel free to take only the blocks you wish to make.
Supply List
Open toe foot
Guide attachment, 15″ square ruler, teflon pressing sheet, steam a seam
Medium weight tear-away, air soluble marker or frixion pen
Fabric:
– 15 inch square background fabric
– two each 1.5 x 14.5 strips for borders
– flower fabric 3 squares 5.5 x 5.5
– two each 1.5 x 12.5 strips for borders
– flower center 3 squares 4 x 3.5
– leaves 4 x 3.5
– leaves 7 x 8
NOTE: You will need a total of 6 yards background fabric to finish the quilt
