Half Yard Winter Collection is a  fabulous Debbie Shore book that includes 40 projects and has something for everyone.  There is everything from home decor to crafts for kids, from quick gifts to winter essentials. The book is very beginner friendly and includes a great section of tutorials for sewing techniques and tips.  The instructions are clear and beautifully photographed. It will be a great addition to any sewist’s resource center and become a go-to for quick project ideas.

We are also featuring another great pattern from Noodlehead–the Poolside Tote. This generously sized tote is great for hauling towels, sunscreen, water, snacks, and other summer essentials.  It’s also a great size for road trips, overnighters, big shopping hauls, and more. As always, her designs are clean and attractive, and her instructions are clear and beginner friendly.  You really can’t go wrong with a Noodlehead pattern.
