Make a great quick and easy basket for home or for your notions in your sewing room or even as a great gift.
You can make beautiful place mats for embellishing your dinner table, or even make a purse to elevate your style.
You can personalize it and upstyle it using different options for finishing, coloring in different ways and changing the size or shape or even machine embroidery it, creating a one of a kind design.
In this class you will learn the basic techniques to use your rope and turn it into whatever you design.
ALL SKILL LEVELS * You should know how to use your sewing machine.
Supply List
Cotton rope (preferable). Ideally 1/4″ or 3/8″, 200 ft
(*As reference: 50 Feet (16m) for a small bowl, or 100-150 feet (30-45m) for a larger bowl.)
Machine in good working order with zig zag capability.
Cream colored 40 or 50 wt thread and color thread.
Scissors, Pins, Seam Ripper (Basic Sewing Supplies)
Fabric to cover rope cut into 1″ strips (do not join together)
