Embroidery Club – Littleton 3/22/18

A club is an association or organization dedicated to a particular interest or activity.
In this embroidery club we will be working on different projects monthly to enhance our ability to use our embroidery machines to their fullest potential.
We will using designs from different vendors and working on projects that will not always be finished in one months time.
Join us for a great learning experience and time of sharing other projects!
The month of March brings thoughts of Spring with so many flowers, birds, gardens, etc. on the way!
Join our class this month and learn how to embroider on balsa wood.
I inset balsa wood on a jewelry box and on a bird house! They turned out so cute!
Balsa wood can be challenging but so rewarding with the end project.
You will need very thin balsa wood 1/16 inch. I purchased a piece from Hobby Lobby, size was 1/16X6X36 inch for $5.49.
Unfinished wood piece to attach your finished balsa wood onto, have it painted or stained and ready to finish up with your balsa wood design
Stabilizer – Fusible Cut-away, Perfect Stick Tear Away, Medium Tear Away, size to fit in your hoop
Misc Threads, embroidery machine in good working order, misc sewing notions, rotary cutter to cut balsa wood, wood glue, Floriani chrome 75/11 embroidery needles
