– Beginners will learn how to piece the top and quilt the completed table runner by stitching in the ditch and straight line stitching.
– Advanced quilters can embroider the centerpiece instead of fussy cutting it and then quilt in the hoop.
There are endless possibilities with this pattern and it is so satisfying to make!

Sewing and / or embroidery machine in good working order with hoops
Thread for piecing
Fabric according to pattern – for the top, back and binding
Fusible batting (Pellon 987 – available at the Littleton store
Misc. sewing supplies including rotary cutter, long ruler, iron and ironing mat (optional)
Embroidery thread if doing a center design
Thread for quilting – something to match background or invisible thread (Wonder invisible thread)
Free motion quilting foot for advanced beginners (bring along 2 – 12 x 12 inch quilting sandwiches to practice on)
