 Sew Fun Christmas

It’s that time of year again! Do you have all your Christmas sewing done? Well, it’s time to party! Our annual Sew Fun Christmas celebration will be held next week at each of our stores. Come and join us to celebrate the holidays. Have some fun, food, and a peek at some of the projects our presenters have in store for you next year. As we wrap up a successful 2017, we’re looking for 2018 to be a banner year. Get ready for fun, educational events, monthly Sew Fun projects that are sure to please, and, as always, excellent sales and service from the Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum staff.

The annual Christmas Sew Fun is a great opportunity to mingle with friends, Sew Fun  Educators, and employees. You might even make new friends! It’s also the perfect time to renew your Sew Fun membership for 2018.

Don’t forget to bring your show and tell projects! We’d love to see those Christmas gifts you’ve been working on. We have had some spectacular projects at Show and Tell this year. Check out our Facebook page for the 2017 monthly Sew Fun albums. Click here for the latest (November’s) Sew Fun pictures.

It’s been a fabulous year, and we owe it all to you, our customers. We do hope you can join us!  Don’t forget our Aurora store has moved to its new location, at 15400 Smoky Hill Rd. in Aurora. There will be lots of room to mingle now! Come and check out our new digs.

Debby,

I am sorry that the Aurora store staff person did not know about the UFO Challenge. We are putting the finishing touches on the contest rules and guidelines for the store staff, so hopefully, within the next week the store staff will be fully informed.
I will be posting the official entry form and the official contest rules on our website and Facebook page very shortly. I am just trying to wrap up a few loose ends and get some stuff printed for the stores. We do want your list on the official form as it will be stamped when submitted to enter you in the challenge.
I am sorry for any confusion and delay, but assure you I’ll have the rules and entry form published before the end of next week. The holidays have made me crazy and a little behind in getting all this done!

Hi Cathy, I just spoke with one of the gals at the Aurora Store and she was not familiar with the UFO Project. My question is that you mention a list that needs to be filed with an official entry form. I am not clear if we can just take in our list to the store and enter or if the list needs to be completed on the official entry form. I am planning on taking part, but can see a huge jam at Sew Fun if it all need to be completed at the store. It is not always easy for me to get to the store except for Sew Fun day. Will the entry form be on the website and able to be downloaded? Thanks for the catalyst to help to get things done. Debby

Great questions, Sherry! We are finalizing the details — mostly waiting on information on what the grand prizes will be — and when we have everything ready we’ll roll out the contest with all the information.
In the meantime, I can tell you that, you’ll take your list on the official entry form (will be posted soon) to your local store. There, the store staff will stamp or initial it (one of the details still to be finalized) and that will get you registered. You DO NOT have to do the projects in any particular order. The final date for registering will likely be January Sew Fun, but, again, that’s one of the details to be finalized.
We’re excited about the contest and glad you are, too. We’re looking forward to seeing what we can all accomplish in 2018!

They talked about the 2018 UFO Project (Contest?) at the December Sew Fun gathering. Who do we give our list to? By what day in January do we have to be registered? Do we have to finish the projects in the order listed? You’ve come up with a great idea to rekindle interest in some older UFOs. Thank you.
