Description
Escape the summer heat and spend a fun, creative day with a group of ladies making your choice of four placemats or two placemats and a table runner! This is a relaxed and beginner-friendly class where you'll learn how to stitch in the ditch and try some basic crosshatch quilting—perfect for those wanting to build confidence with their quilting skills.
We'll be working with simple postcard patterns (very budget-friendly!), and all you need to bring are your fat quarters, batting, and backing. Patterns are available at the Littleton Store. What to bring: Pattern available at the Littleton Store
For the 4 placemats - 4 fat quarters, 1 yard backing, 4 pieces of batting 20 x 22, 1/2 yard binding, thread to match fabric
For the 2 placemats and runner - 3 1/2 yard cuts or fat quarters and and 1 yard of main fabric, 1 yard backing and 2 - 20X22 and 1 20 X 48 pieces of batting, 1/2 yard for binding, thread to match fabric
Sewing machine in good working order with 1/4 Inch foot, stitch in the ditch foot, and quilting quide arm.
