We’re so excited to bring you, all the way from Australia, The Sewing Revolution with Kym Goldup-Graham! Kym is a published, passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is constantly devising new methods to inspire and motivate. Kym combines patchwork, quilting, appliqué, and machine embroidery together with amazing results!

The Sewing Revolution has created a unique ruler/template system for embroidery and quilting. It is a world where arcs and circle centers magically appear, where shapes almost draw themselves, and where embroidery design placement is perfect every time.

Join us for this two-day event, Friday, 03/15 from 10am to 5pm and Saturday, 03/16 from 10am to 5pm. Create 4 different projects using both sewing and embroidery on the Janome Horizon Quilt Maker Memory Craft 15000. We will provide all of the machines, the materials, and kits as well as lunch. So the only thing you have to remember is to bring yourself. Best of all, your new skills are transferable to any machine!

Kym is passionate and enthusiastic about her craft and loves to share the secrets to sewing learned along the way. You are guaranteed to not only learn from this presentation, but also be entertained and leave with a smile on your face.

Creative kids now have an incredible place to go to learn and master the great art of sewing! Students learn and build valuable, lifelong skills like 1) how to operate a sewing machine, 2) carry a project from concept to completion, 3) patience, 4) artistry, and 5) reading patterns and visualizing in 3 dimensions.

We begin with DIRECTIONS, a series of educational sewing patterns developed just for young people. Then students progress on to sew clothes, gifts, accessories, stuffed animals, quilts, etc. Sewing machines, tools and beginning patterns are provided for boys and girls ages 7 to 17.

Join us all week long. Sewing Camps over spring break meet 1.5 hours each day for five days. The cost for the week is $135, but each student saves $5 when they sign up for same camp with a friend.

Click on one of the four available time slots below to register.
