Accordingly, Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum is a Kimberbell dealer. As a matter of fact, we not only stock many of their designs and products, but we also have our very own certified instructor, Nancy Tornquist.

At this time, we are so excited to begin offering sewing and embroidery events at our Event Center , and some of the first events are Kimberbell events with Nancy as the instructor.
Summer Nights
If you missed the most recent Kimberbell event, Garden Guild, then be sure to sign up for our next one, Summer Nights, at the Event Center.
Cruise on down to theEvent Center for those sweet Summer Nights! At Kimberbell’s one-day machine embroidery event, you’ll make three peachy-keen projects for gathering with family and friends. Stitch the “Sweet Stash” Roll-up Bag, Pink Roadster Mug Rug, and “S’more Fun” Roasting Stick Tote in 5×7 and 6×10 hoops. Then go home with additional sizes to stitch later.

There are so many opportunities to enjoy not only the creation of beautiful Kimberbell projects, but also the fellowship of in-store clubs. Our stores have a Kimberbell club and offers monthly projects.
Littleton
Kimberbell’s Love Notes Quilt is coming to Littleton! The Love Notes Quilt is an exciting way to experience the joy of creativity with other stitching enthusiasts. By all means, come visit the Littleton store to see the sample in person and order your supplies.

Demos
Join Jordan for a series of 30 minute demos on some cute Kimberbell designs. During the sessions, she walks you through how to complete the project as well as tips and tricks to make your project more successful.
Additionally, receive all sizes of the design that go with the project loaded onto your USB, as well as colored printed instructions for just $10.00. Kimberbell products are available for purchase at a discount during class. Please note, you must sign up online and come to the demo to receive the designs.
Happy Birthday Mini Wall Hanging – July 30, 2021 – 2:00 – 2:30 pm
On July 30 from 2:00 – 2:30 pm, join Jordan, and a layer cake with icing, candles, confetti all become part of your birthday wishes. Applique glitter makes the balloons even bright and colorful piecing for the border. This adorable wall hanging can be made in three sizes. Even more, it has all the features we love about quilting except the work is finished in the hoop on an embroidery machine.
Write Now Pencil Pouch – August 6, 2021 – 2:00 – 2:30 pm
Available in three sizes, the Write Now Pencil Pouch has your school and office supplies all zipped up! From eraser top to the pointed lead tip, each part of the pencil is made from a different fabric color, with the grey zipper a functional element of the textured “metal” band. Notably, the pouches are fully lined with no raw seams. Our Sweet Wraps are autumn decor for Sweet Tubes and more! Made with crisscrossed strips of raw-edge fabric, these giftable wraps can be tied with coordinating ribbon around cylinders of all sizes. Meet the Mystery Mummy, his friendly eyes shyly peeking from soft layers of fabric, then harvest a Pumpkin Patch with darling applique stems! Both designs come in x-small, small, and medium sizes for a variety of projects.
The Sweetest Equation Tea Towel – October 15, 2021 – 2:00 – 2:30 pm
If the occasion calls for pie making, keep the recipe simple with this math equation. Choose to applique either apple or pumpkin for the sweetest gift or kitchen decor. Come to the demo and then go home with designs for both the apple and pumpkin pie. Great for beginners as well as those wanting to brighten up their kitchen decor.
Sage Owl Oven Mitt – November 5 , 2021 – 2:00 – 2:30 pm
There are two definitions for the word sage. One meaning wisdom and good judgement, as in sage advice. The other, a savory culinary herb popular in meat and poultry dishes. Take our advice and serve up a delicious dish for your family with these adorable owl oven mitts. In three sizes, for holding saucepan handles to a cast iron skillet, your fingers fit just inside the wings. We’ve stitched our owls with flannel and recommend a layer of insulated batting for use as a hot pad or oven mitt.
Infant Rompers – November 19, 2021 – 2:00 – 2:30 pm
Snuggles and giggles and sweet baby smells… Kimberbell’s Infant Rompers are a bundle of joy! Daddy’s Princess wears a shiny, silver crown of Embroidery Leather adorned with a pink heart. Also, Mommy’s Knight wears a leather helmet with a sparkling Glitter plume. Stitch both designs in raw-edge applique technique, then embroider “Daddy’s Little Princess” and “Mommy’s Knight in Shining Armor” below! In a word, these giftable rompers are perfect for baby showers, cradles, and lots of warm cuddles.
