Don’t you just love Kimberbell embroidery designs? We sure do, and we’re proud to be a certified shop for Kimberbell classes. Nancy T. attended the Kimberbell Academy, and now Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum gets to offer project classes with designs exclusive for shops that are Kimberbell certified.

Kimberbell Designs has been designing projects for quilting and machine embroidery in Logan, Utah since 2009. With designs that are fun and on-trend, they help us feel the joy of creativity.

Without a doubt, Kimberbell provides some of the best project instructions in the industry, so the classes are fun and stress-free.

Are you ready to join us at a Kimberbell class? Well, we’re working up a great slate of classes, both in the stores and at the Event Center, so get ready!

Event Center Kimberbell Tea Party

No Mad Hatters here! Nope, we’re throwing a different kind of tea party.

This party is all about saying “I made this for you” which is just like saying “I love you”.  If you ❤️ machine embroidery, then this is the event for you!

Join us for two days, January 31 and February 1, from 10 am until 5 pm, at our Event Center. Make six exclusive projects and decorate your own tea party, or share them with someone sweet.  Create a quilted candle mat, a tea cup mug rug, and a zipper pouch that anyone would love.

Improve your embroidery skills, learn new techniques, and have your cup of tea too!

We provide kits, thread and machines along with lunch, drinks and snacks, so sign up today. Cost for the event is $149.

February Kimberbell Club Aurora

Join us February 5 from 2 pm until 5 pm at our Aurora store, and create the Lovebirds Tandem Bicycle!

Was it a “bicycle built for two” that inspired the proposal to Miss Daisy Bell in 1892? She must have said yes because the tandem bike has been a symbol or romance for more than 100 years since. Just like marriage, the technique takes cooperation and practice.

Thank goodness machine embroidery isn’t that much work! In this tandem design, little lovebirds look sweet perched on the bicycle seat and handles, and we adore the baskets of blossoms with fringe flowers too.

Perfect for a picnic tote, personalize the design by adding your marriage or anniversary date!

You’ll need to bring your machine for this class. Check out the class listing for more information on registration and what else you need to bring.
