Things are heating up! I think the snow has finally left us, and it’s time for some summer fun. But don’t spend all your time outdoors this month as we have some sweet July events coming your way.

Sewin’ With My Gnomies
It’s a cheery celebration, sewing with friends and Kimberbell. We’re hosting a two-day, team sewing, machine embroidery event with a sewing and garden theme!
Join us Thursday and Friday, July 11 & 12 from 10 am to 5 pm for this event. Learn new techniques like over-the-edge applique and more using Kimberbell’s polka dot tea towel, buffalo check tote and rectangle pillow form.
Receive a Kimberbell project bag and fabric kits with everything you need to create five event projects. Included are the full colored instructions and design CD. Create The Gnome Knows Sewing Caddy, Gnome Garden Pincushion, Buffalo Gnomes Tote, Pocket Full of Posies Apron and Hedgehog Needle Keeper.

‘Tis the Season to Sparkle
It’s Christmas in July with Kimberbell and RMSV. Join us for more Kimberbell excitement on July 13 from 10 am to 5 pm, and get some great ideas to fill out Christmas shopping list.
Join us for this event and receive a Kimberbell project bag and fabric kit featuring embroidery with glitter applique, plus all the Kimberbellishments, step by step instructions and project CD.
Create four exclusive event projects in this one-day, team sewing, machine embroidery event. Projects include: GIVE, JOY ornaments, Tree Farm Quilted pillow and a Poinsettia Watercolor card.

Canvas Workspace PC Based Software – Colorado Springs 07/10/19
Back in 2018, I wrote a blog (The Brother Rhinestone Kit Part 1: CanvasWorkspace) about using Canvas Workspace to create designs for the ScanNCut. This is great (and free!) software. If you want to learn more, join us at our Colorado Springs store on July 10 from 2 pm – 4 pm. Bring your laptop with the software installed. See how easy it is to create and send designs to your ScanNCut. Register your ScanNCut with Brother and then click here to download the free software available from Brother.

Triangle Frenzy Table Runners – Littleton 07/11/19
July 11 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Use a 60° ruler to cut triangles and then spin them around to make the design you want! This is a really fun project with so many different possibilities! The design possibilities are endless.
Long or short, round or square, you decide after you cut your triangles. Use different strips of fabric you have in your stash or purchase a yard of fabric that is striped to make your runner.
Class is from 10 am to 1 pm on July 11, and the cost is $20, and you can sign up here.
Bernina Software Inspirations – Aurora 07/22/19
Join us at our Aurora store on July 22 from 10 am to 2 pm for a class on the BERNINA V8 embroidery software. See how easy you can design, import, edit, manage and freely configure your embroidery designs. This software is the ideal tool for creating your own distinctive embroidery motifs. The powerful BERNINA embroidery software works in a similar manner to a graphics program, giving you completely free rein in turning your ideas into reality.
In addition to a video lesson prepared by Bernina educators students receive handouts and designs to take home to practice. Class cost is $15 and you can register here.
Sweet Feet Rain Boots — Arvada 07/25/19
If you attend our Kimberbell Special July events and want more, consider joining us from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Arvada store for Kimberbell club. Make a cute Rain Boot with a vinyl cover that you can fill with candy or goodies for a fun gift. The vinyl cover makes the cotton print look like rubberized boots. Add a Kimberbell medium sweet tube filled with goodies, and you’ve got a great little gift for someone sweet in your life.
