It’s the New Year, and we are full of surprises! We hope you’ll come to the January Sew Fun sessions to see them. Here’s a couple of the great projects our Sew Fun presenter has in store for you. You’ll have to come to one of the sessions to see the rest.

Tooth Fairy Cushion

Something for the little ones is their own Tooth Fairy Cushion from Tied with a Ribbon. You can either create a Princess pillow or a Shooting Star for your favorite child who is losing their baby teeth.

Create these special Tooth Fairy Cushions to celebrate this big milestone in your little ones life. These cushions come with a pocket to hold the tooth “awaiting pick up”. We’re sure, once placed in this cute pillow that the Tooth Fairy will be swapping that tooth out for coins, notes or trinkets.

This pattern comes with both the Tooth Fairy and Shooting Star Appliqué Templates to make either version. Choose your favorite method of appliqué to make these treasures.

Tweet Hearts mini wall hanging featured at January Sew Fun

This year our Sew Fun presenters will be featuring a series of mini wall hangings from PatchAbilities. These minis will be holiday or seasonal focus and our presenters will show us one each month — in advance of the next holiday/occasion. For January Sew Fun we’ll get a look at “Tweet Hearts” just in time to make one for that special Valentine. This design of the Monthly Mini Series#11 features two sweet singing birds. The applique pattern includes complete quilting and binding instructions! You can make this quick-to-make fun project in either wool or cotton.
It’s the PERFECT one-day quilting project for any skill level-especially beginner quilters! In addition to the pattern, we’ll even have the hanger for this mini wall hanging available for purchase.

UFO Challenge

So, are you joining the challenge? If so, don’t forget that your 2018 UFO Challenge list must be validated by your local store by January 31.
