Ah, summer! As a person who lived for over 40 years in the deep south, I can tell you that summers in Colorado are glorious! However, even in summer, I love to be in my sewing room thinking about, or working on, the next project. Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum loves the summer, too. We cram it full of special events like the Rocky Mountain Sewing, Quilting and Craft Festival that is going on now (July 6-8 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and Event Center). That will just get over in time or us to start preparing for out next big event, the Floriani Hands-On Two Day Event. This event will be held at the Denver Mart July 28 – 29 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

You are not going to want to miss this event. First of all, there are special receptions for attendees on July 27 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m and on July 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. What a great opportunity to meet other attendees and share embroidery tips, tricks and frustrations! Then, during the day on July 28 and July 29, sessions will be led by Floriani’s lead educator, Debbie Homer – Hofhines.  What a great opportunity to learn from the best.

Join the Fun

So, do you come to these events for the chocolate or for the “learning”?  For me, it’s a toss up, but door prizes, give-aways, gift packages are pretty good reasons too!

As always, there will be the latest machines to sew on and all materials needed for the event. Of course, there’s also lunch and snacks. All this AND a Floriani gift package worth over $499 are included in your registration. Don’t wait, register now either online  or call your local Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum store  to reserve your seat. Cost for the two day event, including the evening receptions is $129.

See you at the Denver Mart (451 E 58th Ave, Denver, CO 80216)!
