August Sew Fun at Rocky Mountain Sewing and Vacuum

by Cathy Ellsaesser, posted on

Can you believe it’s that time again? Time sure flies when you’re having fun! It’s already been a month since our last Sew Fun, and it’s time for the August Sew Fun sessions.

Our Sew Fun presenter has some great projects to show you this week.

Poppins Bag

Wouldn’t you love a large zipper top bag great for all of your magical stuff! This Aunties Two bag makes a great large project bag or a gorgeous weekender bag.

Not sure if you can pull a floor lamp out of this bag, but this 18″ x 12″ x 14″ bag will surely hold a lot. Keep everything organized with plenty of pockets on the outside and inside. Stainless steel stays help keep the bag open while you’re using it.

Don’t need such a large bag? Well, then, make the Little Poppins Bag, same style just a little smaller. Even better, make them both for a matched set!

Watercolor Cards

Tap into your artistic side with KimberBell’s darling Watercolor Wishes embroidered cards. These elegant embroidered cards mix mediums of thread and paper. They feature ten designs on two different card sizes for all occasions. After embroidering, give the designs a gorgeous soft was of color with watercolor pencils and a blender brush.

Don’t worry about the back of the embroidery showing. Simply cover the back of the stitches with the printable inserts included on the CD.

So Much More!
