| Staff: Learn to Use Your Computerized Sewing Machine
This session will acquaint you with all the basic functions of your computerized machine. You will learn basic threading, bobbin winding, settings for all stitch functions, stitch variations and use of the included accessory feet. We will also show you basic machine maintenance. Learn to use your machine's built-in memory to combine and store patterns and to manipulate decorative stitches for custom effects. We'll also cover memory buttonholes. Bring your machine, accessories, scissors and spool of thread. |

In this session you'll learn to use the embroidery unit with your machine. From basic attachment and fabric hooping to embroidery placement and alignment. You'll change threads, use pattern rotation and monochrome options and learn how to store embroidery designs in your machine's memory. |

| Staff: Learn to Use Your Serger
In this session, you'll become acquainted with the basic functions of your serger. We'll identify the various parts, thread by tie-on and from scratch. Sew the basic 3, 4 and 5 thread (if applicable) stitches and explain basic tension balance. We will also show you basic machine maintenance. Bring your machine, accessories, scissors and a spool of thread for each threading path. |

| Staff: Learn to Use Your Serger Part 2
In this second session we'll cover use of your differential feed and coverlock as well as rolled hems, flat hems and flatlocked stitches. In addition, we'll cover the optional accessory feet available for your serger and show you how these items will save you time in various projects and make your new serger even more versatile. |
